A Long Yarn...

Sigh.
Summer is on it's last legs once again. Sitting here at Young Janes on a chilly, rainy, too-close-to-fall-for-comfort day, I can only crave soup and dream of fall's loveliest and most practical trend: sweaters!
And no, I do not mean grungy hooded sweatshirts worn on the way to yoga and for fat nights curled up with a bag of peppermint patties watching An Affair to Remember...I mean the wonderful, chunky, wooly ones to snuggle up in on those crisp fall days that make one crave a pumpkin spice latte (I WILL find out how to make one at home, oh crafty Starbucks!).
Here are a few to warm the hearts of even the cold-bloodedest:

Chanel says head to toe sweater outfits... for keeping warm in drafty libraries
Michael Kors
Missoni
Alexander Wang

Best of all, D&G's entire fall collection embraces the love of sweaters like a big hug from a Shetland Sheepdog...er, or something like that. The collection consists of sweaters and sheer sweater prints (think reindeers and giant snowflakes...oh yes!) used in fun and fabulous forms ...
from the ever popular sweater dress (boring!) to sweater boots...
...sweater shorts...
...sweater skirts...
...sweater corsets!
...sweater onesies!!!!

...sweater UNITARDS!!!!

Oh my...I think I need to lie down.
There are also just sweaters...
Anyway...the whole collection is warm and fuzzy and worth a look. You can find it here

Well that's all the wooly news for today my little pals!

Oh and by the way...the whole thing about the peppermint patties and An Affair to Remember...totally fictional situation. Really.

My favourite is Alexander Wang, by far.
